Grief Support Group
The first Wednesday of the month at 11:00 am.
The loss of a loved one is simply staggering and life-changing. But you are not alone! Many others have suffered loss as well. And, of course, Jesus our Good Shepherd leads us though the struggles and challenges of grief. He alone enables us to truly navigate the stress of grief. Join us. Expect 60 minutes of fellowship, Bible study, sharing and encouragement. |
Grief is not a straight path. Each of us follows a meandering path through a black hole of hurt, and with God’s help, find a way to climb out on the other side. An analogy for grief is that it’s like peeling an onion; it comes off one layer at a time and you cry a lot. No two onions are alike and no two people peel their onion the same. It allows everyone to go through grief in their own unique way.
Who may attend? Anyone!!! Anyone who’s struggling with grief/loss, whether recent or long ago. You’ll have an opportunity to speak, or to not speak at all if you prefer. Most importantly, Jesus will speak to us through his Word. If you have questions about this group, or need a ride, please contact Pastor Luchterhand or the church office at 715-356-2255 and we will get you in touch with Pastor or the group coordinator.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trouble, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the same comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” (2 Corinthians 1:3-4; EHV)
