A special 50th Anniversary service will take place on Sunday, September 28th. Expect:
- Theme for the service: “And He Blessed Them” – taken from Mark 10:16 (EHV). “(Jesus) took the little children in his arms, laid his hands on them, and blessed them.”
- Guest Preacher, Rev. Eugene Kock, who helped to found our school
- Special singing with a variety of choirs
- A potluck meal, with speakers and presentations
- A booklet featuring a history of our school, staff, and stories shared by past teachers at Trinity
Beginning this week, “50 for 50,” 50 facts for the 50th year of Trinity Lutheran School. One fact per week for 50 weeks will be shared on our Facebook and Instagram platforms.
Learn about these and other interesting facts:
- When was the very first day for Trinity Lutheran School?
- When was the school building erected?
- When did our PreK (Early Childhood Ministry) begin?
- What are some of the ways volunteers serve our students and teachers?
- And more…
A request for help: do you have personal knowledge of interesting facts and insights concerning Trinity Lutheran School? Something that we might share as part of our 50 for 50? Email me at [email protected].
In all that we do and say throughout this 50th year, may praise to our gracious Lord resound through our church and school family and to our Northwoods community. What a Gospel treasure God has placed in our midst!
“Through Jesus, therefore, let us constantly offer to God a sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of lips that confess his name. And do not forget to do good and share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.” (Hebrews 13:15,16)
Grateful with you for God’s continuing grace,
Pastor Stephen Luchterhand
